CONTRACT SALES MANAGER

Job Description
The Contract Channel Manager is responsible for building and maintaining long-term, sustainable sales growth in the contract channel through the development and implementation of a successful sales and service strategy and the development of strong relationships with existing and prospective customers within the contract market.

Candidate Requirements
  • Knowledge of the Architecture and Design industry - understanding of their expectations, able to make suggestions to enhance their use of Hubbardton Forge products in their designs.
  • Thorough knowledge of the Hubbardton Forge product line and its applications
  • 3+ years consumer goods sales experience (experience with contract sales within the lighting or furniture industries preferred)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Proven initiative as a highly motivated self-starter
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to successfully lead in a team environment
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple and/or changing priorities
  • Proven ability to manage projects and meet deadlines
  • Background in design is desired4-year degree preferred
